This perennial herb provides a very unique flavor, like licorice and a bit minty, but extremely intense.

It is the main flavoring in many of the sauces that form the foundation of French cuisine such as béarnaise, and tartare. Blended with other fine herbs it enhances the flavors of egg, chicken, and fish dishes. Try also in homemade dressings and mayonnaise for a nice alternative to much used condiments.

*Tip - Use sparingly and add at the end of cooking.
