Lemon Balm is a delightful herb to use in culinary dishes and for medicinal help. Lemon Balm can be used to flavor soups, fish and chicken. It has a mild lemony scent and flavor. You can also steep it and add the flavored water to lemonade or tea.
Medicinally is may help with digestive issues such as tummy gas or discomfort from nausea. It may help with anxiety and restlessness too. As a part of the mint family it makes a lovely tea (hot or cold) when the leaves are steeped for about 20 minutes.
